Myself:
My name's Maya and I'm an artist in Belize trying to share my stories while improving my skills. I have been drawing for 6 years and I'm trying to make a living out of this. I do actual work on canvas and submit them to local galleries but honestly my heart years to make comics. It's literally my passion.My Tools:
I use a Huion H640P tablet and Clip Studio Paint when doing digital art and an assortment of pencils on mainly mixed media paper when doing traditional. I think my favourite pencil is a royal graphite 4b pencil. The set is like less than 10 dollars on Amazon.My Inspiration:
I've been inspired by manga like One Punch Man, The Summer Hikaru Died, My Hero Academia and much more as well as a ton of manhwas. I definitely try to emulate that kind of look when I draw. I listen to the Draftmen podcast often to get into the "art mood". Listening to it gives me a lot of hope that I, too, can become an amazing artist.Learning Recs:
I highly suggest buying Michael Hampton's book "Figure Drawing: Design and Invention". It is my guiding light lol. I'd say, Proko on Youtube has been a huge help in learning how to go about learning to draw as well as giving insight into the actual art world. Lastly, I'll say the Aaron Blaise anatomy course is easy to follow and learn from so maybe look into that too. It's also been a big help learning anatomy.Thanks for taking the time to listen to me ramble!
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note that these terms are nonnegotiable.
1. Every commission made by me is made for personal use only. Any commercial use of commissions made by me will be met with legal action.2. For requests relating to commercial use of my artwork, please email [email protected].3. I will not draw anything I am uncomfortable with, therefore, I have the right to decline any commission request.4. With that said, I WILL draw OC, Fanart, NSFW, Furry, Very Specific Fetish Art (must be discussed).5. I WILL NOT draw Mecha, very detailed backgrounds, Gore, Specific Fetish Art (must be discussed).6. 50% of commission price MUST be paid upfront before the start of the commission. ONE correction/change may be requested at the sketch/concept phase.7. All payments will be made through Paypal or Payoneer.8. Commissions will take anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks to be completed.9. Cancelled commissions will be refunded at 100% before commission has been started and 50% if commission has already been started.10. If the commission is cancelled after it has been started, client will be refunded but will not receive the commission, regardless of the phase it's in.11. I have the right to post any commission made by me to my social media and patreon at my discretion. If the commission includes your original character, you will be credited appropriately.
